4 DAY ITINERARY GUIDE

Day 1: Settle in, relax & unwind as we welcome you to the Castle!

Upon arrival and after a relaxed check-in, why not take some time to relax & truly unwind in our Leisure Club. Enjoy a refreshing swim in our 20-metre swimming pool before taking some time out to truly switch off in our jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. Afterward enjoy a signature cocktail in our stylish Library Cocktail Bar before indulging in a delicious meal in our Mapas Restaurant; which brings you a menu prepared using the very best of Irish, locally sourced seasonal produce in a contemporary setting.

Day 2: Take in the views & enjoy a Delicious Take Away picnic up Killiney Hill

After a restful night’s sleep and a full Irish Breakfast make the most of the hotel’s stunning location with a scenic walk or hike (depending on how energetic you are feeling!) up Killiney Hill where you can take in the stunning views over Dublin Bay. Children will also love a visit to the playground and why not let us know so we can help you take care of lunch with a delightful packed picnic which our team can arrange for you to enjoy!

Day 3: Discover some local History in Dalkey Village & Take a sunset cruise around Dalkey Island

No visit to Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel is complete without a stroll down to the quaint and picturesque village of Dalkey. Here you can take some time to explore some of the stunning gift shops, Restaurants & Café’s all serving local produce, or why not travel back to Tudor days with a visit to Dalkey Castle & Heritage Centre. The whole family will love discovering more about the past with the centre’s customed actors as well as a climb up the battlements for magnificent views of the sea and mountains! Round off the day with a stunning sunset cruise around Dalkey Island & Killiney Bay with Dublin Bay Cruises (daily cruises from Dun Laoghaire East Pier). Day 4: Seas the Day!

Finish off your stay at Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel with a relaxing beach day at Killiney Beach, The Vico Baths, or The Forty Foot in Sandycove named as one of the top ten places to swim in the world by The New York Times, offering an experience to remember for the whole family.
